World Bank IEP: People-First Housing: A Roadmap from Home to Jobs to Prosperity in Indonesia

On June 23rd, EuroCham had the honor of participating in the launch of the Indonesia Economic Prospects Report 2025, hosted by The World Bank Indonesia. This biannual flagship report provides critical insights into Indonesia’s macroeconomic outlook and policy challenges, especially in light of current global uncertainties and the country’s evolving development priorities.

The event commenced with opening remarks from Ms. Carolyn Turk, World Bank Country Director for Indonesia and Timor-Leste, followed by Ms. Gita Kamath, Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Indonesia. The keynote speech was delivered by H.E. Mr. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, highlighting the Indonesian government's vision for equitable infrastructure and inclusive economic growth.

EuroCham reaffirms its support for the World Bank’s commitment to promoting sustainable development in Indonesia, particularly in the areas of housing and employment. We welcome continued engagement with stakeholders across sectors to contribute to a resilient and inclusive economic future.
