EuroCham was invited to a public focus group discussion on “Analysis on the Impact of Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 75 of 2019” organized by the Center of Reform on Economics (CORE) Indonesia. The forum started with an overview of the survey conducted by CORE regarding the MoEF Regulation No. 75 of 2019 on the roadmap for businesses to re-examine the pre-to-post-production process to reduce waste by 30 percent. Following the overview, the discussion session highlighted the impact of the policy on consumer goods packaging producers and its effect on the middle to lower class.

EuroCham and Tetra Pak held an offline meeting at the EuroCham office on September 6 to meet Tetra Pak's Head of Public Affairs for Southeast Asia, Nesha Armo and the Sustainability Manager, Reza Andreanto.

We touched on several issues in this meeting pertaining to sustainability in the course of doing business in Indonesia, as well as Tetra Pak’s commitment to the environment and society. EuroCham would like to thank Tetra Pak for the visit and we welcome any collaboration in the future.
