EuroCham & Center of Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) CEO Briefing: Sustainable Development and Investment in Jakarta
On Friday, 8 July 2022, EuroCham Indonesia and the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) successfully conducted a virtual CEO Briefing entitled, "Sustainable Development and Investment in Jakarta". We were delighted to have Tona Hutauruk (Head of the Jakarta Investment Centre) and Dr. Leonardus W Wasono, CPA(Aus), ACMA-CGMA, CMA(Aus) (Director of Finance and IT of Jakpro Team) as the speakers for the event. Agus Ciputra, the Chairman of EuroCham, provided the opening remarks for the event. The event itself was moderated by Rainer Heufers, the Executive Director of CIPS (a member of EuroCham).
The speakers provided insights as to the Jakarta Provincial Government's ambitious plan towards sustainable development and infrastructure development that is needed for a liveable and sustainable city in future as well as shared with our members the opportunities available to collaborate in this plan.
The CEO Briefing event is an exclusive event for EuroCham’s Platinum and Gold members and provides a unique opportunity to meet and discuss with key decision-makers through an interactive discussion needed to build synergies and enhance business certainty as well as ease of doing business in Indonesia.

The EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) Joint Gathering
EuroCham, together with EKONID (AHK Indonesien), Danchamb, DBN - Dutch Business Network Indonesia, IBAI Secretariat, BritCham Indonesia, Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) and SBAI successfully held the EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) Joint Gathering on 22 June 2022.
This event was the first in-person gathering since 2020 with more than 200 people representing 60+ companies, gathered at Alila Hotels SCBD Jakarta to connect, converge and build linkages with societies and top-level European and Indonesian decision-makers alike.
