‘Adopt A Tree’ from Schneider Electric encourages Vocantional High Schools to Promote Green School Environment

Schneider Electric initiated the 'Adopt A Tree' program, which is targeted at vocational high schools to promote a green school environment. This program is part of the company's sustainability initiative through the VolunteerIn program that aims to provide a forum for employees to take action to contribute to society. The launch of the ‘Adopt a Tree’ program was marked by the planting of tree seedlings at SMK Negeri 15, Bekasi City. Ratri Wuryandari (Head of CSR, Schneider Electric for East Asia & Japan) on Friday (21/1) said that “the Adopt a Tree program will further increase the variety of social activities for our employees, strengthening their motivation and commitment to become responsible citizens in realizing sustainability for all.” Schneider Electric's sustainability initiative has, since 2005, been widely recognized by ESG rating agencies.
