Airbus and PTDI Agree to Expand Partnership in the Field of MRO Helicopters and Military Aircraft

Airbus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) to explore expanding PTDI's maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities for helicopters and military aircraft. This MoU is a continuation of the agreement signed in September 2022 on the production of aerostructures.

The signing of the MoU was witnessed by the Indonesian Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto at the Function Room Hall D Indo Defense Expo and Forum 2022.

In this MoU, Airbus Defense & Space and, Airbus Helicopters will collaborate with PTDI in an MRO service improvement program that can make operations at PTDI more efficient. PTDI currently supports a number of Airbus fleets such as the C295 and H225M, which are operated by the TNI and other government agencies and is a licensed manufacturer of the CN235 and NC212i military aircraft.

Airbus will support PTDI in areas related to resource and schedule planning, as well as technical and managerial support.
