Allianz Indonesia Launched SmartHealth Enterprise to Support MSMEs

Allianz Indonesia just launched its new product ‘SmartHealth Enterprise’, which is specially designed for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia to welcome the Insurance Day and Financial Inclusion Month to be commemorated in October 2022. SmartHealth Enterprise is a collective insurance health plan that can be leveraged by MSMEs in Indonesia to protect employees and their family. Himawan Purnama, Chief Product Officer of Allianz Life Indonesia, stated that manpower is an invaluable asset for companies and MSMEs. According to him, industry players are contributing to employee welfare, by giving health protection to employees and their families. This is also a part of the employee retention program that is expected to improve work productivity for the MSME’s.

Himawan explained that MSMEs need to comprehend various potential risks that can possibly rise at any time, which will impact their business operations. Thus, SmartHealth Enterprise is the right and efficient choice for MSMEs. Himawan added, “With minimum of 5 participants (including 1 employee), MSMEs already provide health protection to employees and their family with different premium options”.

Allianz will continuously support the efforts of increasing financial literacy and insurance penetration in Indonesia as well as supporting the government in MSMEs growth. “We believe that is MSMEs have prepared a business sales strategy with approriate protection for their employees, then MSME business continuity and national economic growth can be realized”, Himawan reiterated.
