B. Braun Indonesia Donates Medical Devices to COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Jakarta
B. Braun Indonesia distributed 10,000 items comprising infusion sets and syringes to the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Pondok Gede, Jakarta. The donation was made in collaboration with the EuroCham and delivery was done from B. Braun’s Jakarta warehouse directly to the hospital on July 14th, 2021. On hand to receive the donation was dr. H. Mukti Rahadian, MARS, MPH as the head of Bidang Analisis Lingkungan Strategis, Pusat Analisis Determinan, Minister of Health Indonesia.

We have had a successful presence of close to 40 years in Indonesia, delivering safe medical products and services that focus on innovation, optimization, and sustainability. Even during these challenging times, B. Braun is committed to continue supporting the government’s initiatives in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic,” President Director of B. Braun Indonesia, Rainer Ruppel, said.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Danone in Indonesia has collaborated with the government, various institutions, hospitals, and social organizations to distribute assistance worth IDR 56 billion in the form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), medical equipment, and empowerment for the affected MSMEs. Danone has also distributed more than 200,000 healthy food packages to meet nutritional needs and more than 1 million bottles of AQUA and Mizone to support the hydration of medical personnel to vulnerable groups. In addition to the Gotong Royong vaccination, Danone Indonesia has also supported the government’s vaccination program targeting the elderly, public service workers, media workers, tourism industry workers, transportation workers, and retail partners in 13 cities in Indonesia and will continue to contribute to support the government in its efforts acceleration of vaccination coverage.
