Beiersdorf Indonesia Bolsters Production Capabilities with Factory Expansion

Beiersdorf Indonesia, a leading skin care products manufacturer, has expanded its factory in Malang, East Java to meet the growing demand in the market. The company has been operating in Malang since 1978 and currently produces NIVEA skin care products and Hansaplast wound care for the Indonesian market. The factory expansion, costing 26 million Euros, will enable Beiersdorf to increase its annual production from 122 million to 174 million pieces of products. The expansion incorporates cutting-edge technology and research to create innovative products that consumers can trust.

Beiersdorf remains focused on its strategic framework called C.A.R.E+, which emphasizes Courage, Aspiration, Responsibility, and Empathy. The company aims to maintain NIVEA and Hansaplast as iconic brands in the global skincare and wound care market. The factory expansion is expected to stimulate local economic and industry growth while meeting the demand for Hansaplast and NIVEA Hijab Series products, not only in Indonesia but also in other markets within the next 2-3 years.
