Welcome
Bosch Groundbreaking Ceremony
EuroCham Indonesia was pleased to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of Bosch Indonesia's new Modular Factory on 19 November 2025.
Located in the Deltamas Industrial Estate, Cikarang, the 82,000 m² facility marks a significant milestone in Bosch’s next phase of growth in Indonesia. Designed with an innovative modular concept, the new plant will replace Bosch’s existing Cikarang factory and substantially expand production capacity for automotive components — such as ECUs and engine cooling fans — as well as building technology products.
Opened by Vijay Ratnaparkhe, President of Bosch for Region Asia Pacific South (Southeast Asia and Oceania), and Pirmin Riegger, Managing Director of Bosch Indonesia, the ceremony was attended by key government representatives, including Setia Diarta, Director General of ILMATE at the Kementerian Perindustrian Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Industry); Ralf Beste, Ambassador of Germany to Indonesia; Odo Manuhutu, Deputy for Connectivity Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development; and Ani Gustini, Assistant for Economic Affairs and Development at the Regional Secretariat of Bekasi Regency.
With an initial investment of approximately EUR 25 million and Phase 1 scheduled for completion in early 2027, the new facility will support industrial localization and strengthen Indonesia’s manufacturing ecosystem.
We would like to congratulate Bosch on this important milestone and thank them for inviting EuroCham to be part of the celebration.
