CMA CGM Celebrates World Cleanup Day 2025 at Kepulauan Seribu

On September 19, EuroCham participated in the CMA CGM World Cleanup Day 2025 initiative hosted by CMA CGM Indonesia, our esteemed Gold Member. The sustainability initiative took place in Pulau Damar, Kepulauan Seribu.

This year’s activities focused on the challenge of marine and coastal waste, with a spotlight on textile waste. Participants carried out cleanup efforts on the shoreline and surrounding waters of Pulau Damar, helping to reduce pollution and protect the island’s biodiversity.

In addition to the cleanup, the event featured a talk show that further explored how communities and industries can contribute to waste reduction and sustainable practices. The session was brought by Adithiyasanti Sofia (Communication Manager at Dietplastik Indonesia) and Christina Harjanto (Co-Founder of EcoTouch), moderated by Nadia Mulya (Co-Founder of Langit Biru Pertiwi).
