Coming Close to Jakarta City Center, IKEA Indonesia opens its first city store at Taman Anggrek Mall
IKEA Indonesia has a vision to create a better everyday life for many people. One concrete step to realize this vision is to expand its accessibility. Today, IKEA Indonesia officially opened their first city store at Taman Anggrek Mall, West Jakarta. IKEA Taman Anggrek Mall is here to bring affordable home furnishings solutions and inspiration to communities around downtown Jakarta.
“We are committed to creating a better everyday life for many people. This time, we are closer to the center of Jakarta through the first city store located at Mal Taman Anggrek," said Patrik Lindvall, President Director of PT Rumah Mebel Nusantara (IKEA Indonesia). “We are very happy to serve the people in downtown Jakarta. Now, they can easily access the IKEA store. IKEA Taman Anggrek Mall is here to offer affordable solutions and inspiration for their household needs,” concluded Patrik
IKEA Taman Anggrek Mall brings a new concept that aims to provide the best shopping experience for its consumers. Because of its location in a shopping center, in addition to offering a cash and carry shopping experience, IKEA Mal Taman Anggrek also offers an online to offline shopping experience through the scan and shop feature, which allows consumers to scan the product they want in the store and it will appear in their online shopping cart. After that, customers can pick up their orders via IKEA Click and Collect which is located at P1 basement or other nearest IKEA Pick-up Point location. In addition, visitors can also sample Swedish food typical of IKEA and use the Self Order Kiosk at the Swedish Restaurant on the 3rd floor.
“Since it was first announced that IKEA will open a store at Taman Anggrek Mall, we have received great enthusiasm from our visitors. We are very pleased to be working with IKEA Indonesia to serve people in downtown Jakarta who are looking for solutions and inspiration for home furnishings,” said General Manager of Taman Anggrek Mall, Justin Chew.
