During this inauguration, the President Director of APL, Christophe Piganiol, conveyed that the program is a form of sustainability commitment to implement the ‘Respecting Environment’ pillar. He explained that, “Climate change is a reality that not only will affect our health, but also directly impacts our mission to make health services accessible for our community. That being said, we are doing our best efforts to actively participate in reducing environmental adversities through our sustainability programs.” Christophe also added that the solar panel installation was made in collaboration with PT Vastland Indonesia as the building owner and PT Bumi Enviro Lestari (BEL Solar) as the panel installer.

The Head of Energy and Mineral Resources for the Province of North Sumatra, Utara Rajali, expressed his appreciation of APL for its commitment in enhancing renewable energy use, “We support APL’s efforts in reducing the fuel energy use while promoting renewable energy sources. Other private sectors may follow this program so that we can preserve our environment together.”
