To celebrate World Refill Day on June 16, L’Oréal Indonesia launched the ‘Join The Refill Movement,’ a campaign under its global sustainability commitment, L’Oréal for the Future. This initiative promotes refill-at-home beauty solutions as a practical and elegant step toward a more sustainable lifestyle.

Responding to rising consumer demand, especially among Gen-Z, for environmentally responsible products, L’Oréal offers refillable options across its luxury brands such as Kérastase, Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, and Giorgio Armani. These innovations significantly reduce plastic, glass, and metal use, while maintaining the aesthetics, efficiency, and luxury experience consumers value. Beyond product innovation, L’Oréal actively builds a sustainable beauty ecosystem through green pop-up stores, incentives for refills, and digital awareness campaigns. Refills are not only more affordable (typically priced 10–30% lower) but also empower consumers to make responsible choices.

The movement invites collaboration among brands, consumers, and government to shift everyday habits and shape a new culture of sustainable beauty. As emphasized by L’Oréal representatives and sustainability advocates, every small act like refilling can lead to meaningful environmental impact.
