Welcome
L'Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science Award

On November 11, EuroCham had the pleasure of attending the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award Ceremony 2025, an event organized by our esteemed Gold Member, L'Oréal Indonesia, in commemoration of World Science Day for Peace and Development.
The ceremony opened with welcoming remarks by Prof. Stella Christie (Vice Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in Indonesia), H.E. Fabien Penone (Ambassador of France to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and ASEAN), and Benjamin Rachow (President Director of L’Oréal Indonesia). Their addresses underscored the importance of empowering women scientists and promoting inclusivity in advancing scientific innovation for sustainable development.
This annual initiative celebrates the outstanding achievements of Indonesian women researchers whose work contributes meaningfully to society and inspires future generations in science and technology. The event also honored four outstanding women scientists whose groundbreaking research received this year’s For Women in Science awards, recognizing their remarkable contributions to advancing knowledge and creating real-world impact through science. Through the L’Oréal-UNESCO partnership, the program continues to recognize the critical role of women in driving scientific progress and fostering a more equitable and knowledge-driven world.
EuroCham extends its sincere appreciation to L’Oréal Indonesia for the kind invitation and its enduring commitment to championing gender equality and excellence in science across Indonesia.
