Nestlé Indonesia Collaborates with The Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment to Provide Food and Beverages For 2,000 Families

The President Director of Nestle Indonesia, Ganesan Ampalavanar, symbolically handed over to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, nutritious food and beverage assistance comprised of more than 110,000 Nestlé products and over 1,400 food packages on 30 June 2020. Nestlé Indonesia collaborates with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment to provide food and beverages assistance needed by around 2,000 families during the pandemic that reside in the garbage collection community spread across Greater Jakarta (Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, South Tangerang, Bekasi, West Jakarta, North Jakarta ), Central Java (Solo, Semarang), and East Java (Malang, Pasuruan, Madiun, Nganjuk, Demak, and Kediri).

Nestlé Indonesia through Nestlé Cares has, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia that began in early March, distributed assistance in stages in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. More than 1.4 million Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and more than 1.6 million food and beverage products were distributed to support health workers that are at the forefront and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
