Tetra Pak Invites Consumers to Create Cooking Experiences with Packaged Coconut Milk During Ramadan to Eid

Tetra Pak Indonesia held a virtual Ramadhan gathering with a theme of "Exciting Surprise Behind Packaged Coconut Milk." This event aims to invite consumers to create a pleasant cooking experience with packaged coconut milk products during the Ramadan and Eid celebrations. The virtual meeting highlighted the role of food packaging and processing to maintain food safety and hygiene, which plays an important role for consumers when purchasing food products and cooking ingredients.

In the virtual gathering, Tetra Pak also launched a survey of "The Future Is Now Coconut Milk" with KANTAR which was conducted in September 2020 to analyze household behavior towards certain food products and cooking ingredients, especially packaged coconut milk. The survey found that as a result of the pandemic, cooking has become increasingly relevant. Among the developing categories, coconut milk has the potential to grow most rapidly at specific times. Interestingly, according to a new study from “Think with Google,” Millennial Moms view cooking, not as homework, but more as a moment to create experiences. This is an opportunity for packaged coconut milk products to be more relevant to hygienic and practical factors, especially during the moments of Ramadan and Eid.

Throughout the session, Tetra Pak representatives explained how Ultra High Temperature (UHT) technology and six layers of aseptic packaging ensure that coconut milk products are hygienic, easy to use, and nutritious. UHT technology makes packaged coconut milk products heated at a temperature of 144? C for 4 seconds to achieve commercial sterility conditions that kill harmful bacteria and microbes such as Clostridium botulinum, as well as microorganisms. The six-layer aseptic packaging ensures long shelf life without losing the natural flavor, nutrition and texture of the coconut milk. Speaking at the event, Panji Cakrasantana, Marketing Manager of Tetra Pak Indonesia, explained, “We want to encourage parents today and today to create unique cooking experiences with packaged coconut milk for their families, sharing moments of joy while preparing various dishes.
