ALFI’s Socialization Event on Freight Forwarding and Tariff Regulations

EuroCham attended an invitation from the Indonesia Logistics and Forwarders Association (ALFI) to socialization event on 18 April 2018. This event was opened with launching of online logistics services by ALFI. ALFI has worked together with PT Indonesia Logistik Community Services (ILCS) — a subsidiary of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II — in operating an online logistics service known as smart port. Following the launching, ALFI held three sessions with government officials as panelists and discuss freight forwarding regulation, taxation for freight forwarding business, and procedure for granting preferential tariff based on FTA.
