B20 Inception Meeting

EuroCham was proud to attend the hybrid B20 Inception Meeting organized by the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), on 27-28 January 2022. The B20 Forum 2022 adopted the theme of ‘Innovation, Inclusiveness, and Collaborative Growth’ that is in line with the G20. The event was estimated to be attended by 1,500 participants from the G20 member states, which includes business leaders, the members of the diplomatic community, high ranking government officials, and representatives from the various business associations. The Forum was formally opened by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, as a communication and consultation forum among businesses and the public at both the national and international level. This event is expected to be used by the business community as a means to exchange information and technology for developing productive and innovative solutions. The Chair of B20 Indonesia at the event emphasized that the outcome of this event will be in the form of policy recommendations that can serve as a legacy for future generations.
