Dentons HPRP Law & Regulation Outlook 2023: UU P2SK

EuroCham was cordially invited to “Dentons HPRP Law and Regulations Outlook 2023: Omnibus Law in the Financial Sector” that was held on February 20, 2023 at Shangri-La, Jakarta. The event was commenced by a keynote speech delivered by the Vice Minister of Finance, Suahasil Nazara. Topics that were discussed are anticipation of amendments of the Financial Sector Development and Reinforcement Law and ESG aspects in the financial sector, which were addressed by prominent speakers from the Financial Services Authority, Senior Economist of INDE, Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and many more.

The Financial Sector Development and Reinforcement Law (“UU P2SK”) is one of the government’s crucial measures in reforming and harmonizing laws and regulations in the financial sector. It is hoped that the supervision on non-bank financial institutions will be improved and financing for the green economy is encouraged.
