EIBN – F&B Trade Mission

On 26 February 2018, EuroCham was invited to attend the EIBN – F&B Trade Mission. EuroCham. Represented by Advocacy Manager Mr. Pirhot Nababan, EuroCham gave insights and updates on the importance of Halal Law and what are the challenges for companies in regards to the implementation from the Halal Law.

Mr. Rachmat Hidayat (Head of EuroCham Import-Export working group; Danone Aqua) also spoke at the event. He gave an overview of the food and beverages industry in Indonesia, complete with the challenges related with the industries. Mr. Rachmat shared some experiences from Danone Aqua as one of Indonesian big companies, which has been present in Indonesia long, enough on the challenges in doing business in Indonesia.

EIBN – F&B Trade Mission is an event held by EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) as part of their aims to promote Indonesia and ASEAN as high potential trade and investment destinations for companies from all EU member states – especially SME companies.
