EU-ASEAN Business Council Mission Trip

From February 5-7, 2025, EuroCham Indonesia supported the EU-ASEAN Business Council Mission Trip to Indonesia, facilitating engagements with key ministries and stakeholders. The mission aimed to convey European business interests, share best practices, and support Indonesia in enhancing its ease of doing business—an essential step toward achieving the new administration’s ambitious 8% economic growth target.

European businesses reaffirmed their commitment to investing in Indonesia’s economic development. Over three days of intensive meetings, EuroCham Board Members and Working Group Heads actively engaged with government representatives, advocating for European business interests and strengthening collaboration between the government and EuroCham Indonesia as the unified voice of European business in the country.

EuroCham Indonesia was represented by Board Members Christofer Arisandy (Vice Chairman), Alexander Grenz (Board Treasurer), Nurdiana Darus, and Evie Yulin, alongside Working Group Heads Jørgen Enger Fjellin (ICTIP Working Group), Thomas Wagner (Energy Working Group), and Omar Abdulkadir (Finance, Tax, and Investment Working Group), as well as Executive Director Edison Bako.
