The European Union (EU) Delegation to Indonesia and representatives of the EU Member States and business, which includes EuroCham, conducted a two-day visit to the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) to meet with business actors, discuss trade and investment opportunities between NTB and the EU and raise awareness on the on-going EU-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) negotiations.

One of the highlight of the visit was a panel discussion entitled, “Trade and Investment Dialogue”, held earlier today, 15 June 2022, wherein the panelists included EuroCham’s Board Member, Gustaaf Reerink, and Marika Jakas, Head of Trade and Economic Section of the EU Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. The panelists stressed the benefits of closer EU-Indonesia Trade and Investment ties for businesses in West Nusa Tenggara and Indonesia.

The panel discussion was attended by representatives of the EU member states, the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia, KADIN Institute NTB and representatives of various trade and industry associations in NTB. The visit serves as part of the EU’s series of Trade & Investment visits to various provinces of Indonesia.
