EuroCham CEO Briefing

On December 12th, EuroCham successfully conducted a CEO Briefing entitled, “Accelerating Green Transition to Recover Stronger” at the Financial Club Jakarta. The event featured Satu Kahkonen, World Bank Country Director for Indonesia and Timor-Leste as the main speaker for the event. EuroCham’s Board Member, David Nolan (Country Manager & President Director of Allianz Life Indonesia) provided the opening remarks for the event. The event itself was moderated by Yawar Herekar, Partner at Environmental Resources Management (ERM).

Ms. Kahkonen discussed Indonesia's green transition efforts and how the private sector can assist with the transition. EuroCham, as the unified voice of European business in Indonesia and a dialogue partner with the Indonesian government, has consistently supported Indonesia's ambition to reduce emissions and achieve its Net Zero Emission targets.
