EuroCham CEO Briefing with Ferro Ferizka

On July 14, EuroCham Indonesia convened a high-level CEO Briefing titled “Strengthening Indonesia’s Human Capital” at the Pijar Foundation Office, bringing together C-level executives from EuroCham’s Platinum and Gold members, government representatives, and education stakeholders to discuss the future of Indonesia’s workforce. The event was opened by Lucia Karina, Vice Chairwoman of EuroCham Indonesia, followed by a keynote presentation by Ferro Ferizka Aryananda, Special Advisor for Innovation and Cooperation at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, who shared the government's vision for strengthening Indonesia’s human capital and preparing its workforce for the future.

The discussion continued with a panel featuring Bapak Oki Earlivan Sampurno (Senior Advisor to the Minister on Industry Relations and International Cooperation, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Indonesia), Iwan Darmawan (Secretary, Directorate General of Development of Workforce Placement and Expansion of Job Opportunities, Ministry of Manpower), and Ibu Sylviawati Tanuwikarta (Country Head of People and Organization, Siemens Indonesia). The panel was moderated by Rifki Weno (Public Policy Director of Pijar Foundation). The panel explored the SMK Go Global initiative, the integration of artificial intelligence into education and workforce development, and the importance of closer collaboration between government, educational institutions, and industry to align Indonesia’s talent pipeline with internationally recognized standards.
