European Business Organization Worldwide Network (EBOWN) Annual Meetings

EuroCham Indonesia participated in the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network (EBO Worldwide Network) Annual Meetings, held in Brussels from 1–5 June 2026. The meetings brought together European Business Organisations (EBOs) from 54 countries across the world, providing an opportunity to engage directly with representatives of the European Commission and other stakeholders supporting the EU’s global partnerships and economic agenda.

Represented by Executive Director Edison Bako, EuroCham Indonesia joined discussions on the EU’s evolving trade and investment priorities, including developments in Free Trade Agreements, economic relations with partner countries, and the implementation of the Global Gateway Initiative. The EBO Regional ASEAN Network also held meetings with DG TRADE, DG INTPA, the European External Action Service, and DG CNECT to exchange views on market access, regulatory developments, and opportunities for closer regional cooperation.

During these discussions, EuroCham Indonesia highlighted Indonesia’s priorities and reaffirmed its support for the timely conclusion of the Indonesia–EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (I-EU CEPA), which is expected to enter into force in 2027.

EuroCham Indonesia extends its appreciation to the EBO Worldwide Network, led by Jason Collins, for organizing this valuable platform to exchange insights, strengthen partnerships, and promote global business cooperation.
