Green Counsellors meeting

On the 24th of November, EuroCham was honored to be invited by the EU Delegation to discuss the business engagement in the energy transition sector. The meeting was opened by Henriette Faergemann (First Counsellor Environment, Climate Action, ICT of the EU Delegation to Indonesia), who briefly introduced the EU’s initiative for the green transition in Indonesia. The meeting discussed several agendas that highlighted the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) agreement, potential for wind power development in Indonesia, and financing the energy transition. The discussion itself was attended by distinguished speakers that comprised of Thibaut Portevin (Head of Cooperation from the EU Delegation to Indonesia), Miroslav Dijakovic (Deputy Head of the EuroCham Energy Working Group & Director of Cleantech Solar), Robbert Groenen (Pondera Consult), Representative of the Embassy of Poland to Indonesia, and Representative of Agence Francais de Developement (AFD).
