National Workshop on Social and CSR Mapping

EuroCham was invited by Ministry of Social Affairs to attend National Workshop on Social and CSR Mapping. The event was held on 8 December 2017 at Grand Boutique Hotel Jakarta which aimed to continue and follow up the discussion from National Gathering of Business and Philanthropy event conducted earlier in October 2017. This national workshop was opened by the Chairwoman and Secretary of CSR Forum Kesos, which is a CSR forum under the Ministry of Social Affair, as well as the Director for Remote Community and Customs Empowerment of Ministry of Social Affairs.

In this occasion, Chairwoman of Presidential Advisory Council, Prof. Sri Adiningsih, also delivered keynote for the workshop in which she presented data on social issues such as unemployment, education, and poverty rate in different regions in Indonesia. In addition, the Head of Data and Information Center of the Ministry of Social Affairs informed that the Ministry is currently developing a system which will contain some database including on existing CSR and philanthropy program.
