Public Consultation on Preferential Tariff

On 3 April 2018, EuroCham was invited to a public consultation meeting by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, which evaluated the implementation of Regulation No. 229/PMK.04/2017 on Procedures for the Imposition of Import Duty under International Agreement or Treaty Frameworks. As a follow up to this meeting, EuroCham submitted written inputs to the Customs on 9 April 2018 highlighting the need to extend the deadline for submission of original COO to the Customs, as well as creating clear procedures in case of transshipment or non-direct shipment.
