The program gives the expertise of beauty to women from underprivileged background and enables them to live a better life, by sharing this expertise and becoming small entrepreneurs and running their own businesses. Empowered with skills, they are able to regain motivation, self-confidence, and professional integration into their own place in the society.”

Launched in 2014, the L’Oréal Indonesia BFBL has been running in cooperation with NGO partners, Yayasan Perempuan Kepala Keluarga (Pekka), Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB) and CSR Jababeka. It aims to educate Indonesian women who do not have the opportunity to access decent education or those who have been living in difficult situations to obtain a recognized certification in the field of beauty.
