EuroCham Annual Members Meeting

Published on 16 June 2020

EuroCham held its first ever virtual Annual Members Meeting (AMM) on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. The Meeting was chaired by EuroCham’s Chairman, Corine Tap, and co-chaired by the Vice Chairman, Wichard von Harrach and the Treasurer of EuroCham, Prawira Atmadja. His Excellency Ambassador Vincent Piket, the EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam provided the opening remarks. The Meeting achieved a quorum representing over half of all of EuroCham’s members.

The AMM was unique as the current COVID-19 pandemic situation posed immense challenges for the nomination and election of new Board members as it required a direct physical meeting. This year’s AMM agreed on four important decisions, namely, first was the approval and endorsement of EuroCham Executive Board's annual report for financial year 2019. Second was the approval for EuroCham’s budget for financial year 2020. Third was the approval to grant release and discharge for EuroCham's Executive Board for 2019-2020. And finally, fourth was the approval to grant temporary extension for the tenure of the current Board of Executives until such time that allows for a physical AMM to be conducted at the latest by the fourth quarter of 2020.
