EuroCham Webinar on Omnibus Law – Employment Cluster

The Omnibus Law on Job Creation was approved by the Parliament a few weeks ago to revise around 79 laws simultaneously. One of the important clusters covered pertains to Employment rules. On Tuesday, 21 October 2020, the EuroCham Human Resources Working Group specifically held a webinar on Omnibus Law - Employment Cluster in collaboration with the HHP Law Firm. The session was moderated by Paramita Wijaya, the Head of EuroCham Human Resources Working Group. Alvira Wahjosoedibjo and Rinaldo Aditya shared main highlights and changes pertaining to rules on Employment. The changes include provisions on foreign workers, definite period employment, outsourcing, overtime, minimum wage, termination of employment as well as manpower social security.
