Nestle Indonesia & Presidential Staff Office Support Acceleration of Vaccination for Children Age 6-11

The Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jend. TNI (Ret.) Dr. Moeldoko together with the President Director of PT Nestle Indonesia, Ganesan Ampalavanar who was accompanied by the Director of Corporate Affairs of PT Nestle Indonesia, Siti Sufintri and the Business Executive Officer Beverages Business Unit of PT Nestle Indonesia, Mirna Tri Handayani, visited SDN Jatiasih III, IV and V Bekasi which is a school in the COVID-19 vaccination acceleration program for children aged 6-11 years in collaboration with the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) and Nestle MILO. In this collaboration, Nestle MILO provides its support by distributing 4 million MILO UHT products to 4,000 elementary schools in 50 cities throughout Indonesia. The Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jend. TNI (Ret.) Dr. Moeldoko who was present to directly review the vaccination process said, “This year the government targets the vaccination of 26.4 million Indonesian children, so the collaboration between the government and the private sector is important in accelerating vaccination for children. In addition, different resources and approaches are needed to make vaccination activities attractive to children. I hope that KSP's cooperation with the food and beverage company Nestlé Indonesia can reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus."

President Director of PT Nestle Indonesia, Ganesan Ampalavanar said, “We are pleased to see the enthusiasm of students and parents in participating in the vaccination program in collaboration with KSP and Nestle MILO. We hope that the support we provide through a variety of interesting activities in schools and support for MILO products can help the vaccination process in schools to accelerate the creation of herd immunity in the midst of a pandemic.”
