During the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia applied restrictions for expatriates travelling to Indonesia. Expatriates would only be allowed to enter Indonesia only when certain conditions and circumstances are fulfilled. On Monday, 24 August 2020, EuroCham together with other foreign chambers of commerce, held an online discussion with Rochadi Imam Santoso, (Director of Immigration Cooperation, Directorate General of Immigration) about Indonesia’s immigration policies. The online meeting was moderated by SSEK, a member of EuroCham, and helped clarify a number of technical issues related to the current licensing and Visa requiements.
