Visit of the European Commission’s Director for Green Diplomacy and Multilaterism

On 24 March 2022, EuroCham had the honor to receive a visit by Astrid Schomaker, Director for Green Diplomacy and Multilateralism, European Commission.  Accompanied by the First Counsellor – Environment, Climate Action, Digital from Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, Henriette Faergemann, the delegation were welcomed by the Head and Deputy of EuroCham’s Sustainable Development Working Group, Karyanto Wibowo and Baudouin Coomans, along with selected Working Group members and startup invitees.  The highlight of the visit was a meeting that provided the opportunity for the guests from the EU and EuroCham to share and discuss developments and experiences pertaining to the circular economy and dealing with plastic issues in Indonesia and Europe.
