On 9 January 2023, the EuroCham secretariat had a meeting with the Head of Finance, Tax, and Investment Working Group (FTI WG), Mr Omar Abdulkadir, in his office to discuss working group activities and priorities in 2023. On this occasion, the Secretariat, and the Head of FTI WG also virtually met with HHP Law Firm to discuss the upcoming collaboration.   

On the 29th of December, EuroCham was cordially invited to the Socialization of Procedures for Imposing Import Duty Tariff based on RCEP and IK-CEPA by the Directorate General of Customs & Excise. This socialization is aimed to give clear guidance for industry players in the implementation of IK-CEPA and RCEP which respectively become effective on January 1 and January 2, 2023. The session was addressed by Ibu Leni Rahmasari, Head of Free Trade Agreement IV Section, Directorate of Customs & Excise International Partnership, and concluded with an Q&A session for the participants.
