EuroCham Secretariat was honored to attend the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Forum - Implementation of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) with the foreign chambers, which was delivered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The forum was opened by Cecep Herawan as the Secretary-General and highlighted the country’s priority for infrastructure needs, strengthening government strategy and roadmap as well as contributions from the private sector.

EuroCham Indonesia's Automotive Working Group held its regular Working Group meeting on 21 June at EuroCham's office in Jakarta.

The meeting discussed policy updates relevant to the automotive sector, including a sharing session with Lembaga Kebijakan Pengadaan Barang/Jasa Pemerintah (National Public Procurement Agency) regarding the implementation of the e-catalog system for Electric Vehicles, as well as updates on the Implementation of Commodity Balance, government incentives for electric vehicles through a range of ministerial regulations.

The meeting was chaired by Daniel Purba, Head of the Working Group and Associate Director of External Affairs at Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, followed by a dialogue with esteemed guest speakers from the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP), Ari Sulindra and Sri Utaminingsih, and was attended by members of the Automotive Working Group as well as the EuroCham Secretariat.
