EuroCham secretariat attended the inauguration of the Kerry Karawang Taste Facility Inauguration on June 14.

The new facility is Kerry's largest greenfield investment in SEA and will encompass a manufacturing site, a research and development pilot plant, and a sampling hub. The Karawang facility will support Kerry’s food and beverage customers in all food categories, including Beverage, Snacks, and Bakery, which are among the company’s fastest growing end-use markets.

The inauguration event was followed by a facility tour which showed more insights about Kerry's wide range of food process technologies. EuroCham secretariat also had the opportunity to meet with Edmond Scanlon (Kerry Group CEO).

EuroCham Indonesia was honored to receive a courtesy visit from delegations from the Jakarta Investment Centre to the EuroCham office on 13 June.

The visit was to maintain the strategic partnership as well as discuss the possibility of doing several potential collaborations between EuroCham and Jakarta Investment Centre in the future. The Jakarta Investment Centre delegation were Kiki Yunita (Investment Promotion), Andri R. Pranoto (Information and Promotion Analyst), Tania Dewanti (External Affairs and Institutional Engagement), and Chika Ayunda (External Affairs and Institutional Engagement Specialist).
