On January 16, EuroCham attended the online socialization of Minister of Industry Regulation No. 1 of 2024. The socialization encompassed the extent of the new regulation, the procedures for its implementation, and how to use the SIINas under the new regulation. The regulation concerns the technical considerations required by businesses to import steel, alloy steel, and their derivative products

On the 16th of January, EuroCham members from the Tobacco Sub-Working group, as a part of FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) Working Group, convened its first meeting this year.

The meeting was led by Anita Eka Lestari (Deputy of the FMCG Working Group and Head of the Tobacco sub-working group, as well as concurrent Manager Fiscal Affairs at HM Sampoerna), and attended by Eka Tengkare (BAT), Putri Ayuningtyas Sasongko, Astrid Puspitasari (HM Sampoerna), Rudy Miwallie Amien (BAT). The meeting discussed regulatory updates relevant to the tobacco sector, as well as set advocacy priorities for the sub-working group in 2024.
