Mandiri Sustainability Forum 2022: Industry for Tomorrow

EuroCham is delighted to be virtually invited to the Mandiri Sustainability Forum 2022: “Industry for Tomorrow” on November 2. This forum is aimed at sharing insights and best practices between investors, businesses, and other relevant stakeholders and receive information on the recent trends pertaining to ESG both at the global and national levels. This forum is also intended to increase awareness of ESG among business leaders and policy makers alike.

The forum commenced with opening remarks and keynote speeches from Darmawan Junaidi (President Director of Bank Mandiri), Destry Damayanti (Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia), I Gede Nyoman Yetna (Head of Listing Division of the Indonesia Stock Exchange), and many others. EuroCham’s Excutive Board Member, Francois de Maricourt (President Director of HSBC Indonesia) was invited to be a speaker in this forum and delivered HSBC Indonesia’s climate ambitions, namely, to becoming a net zero bank, supporting clients in the transition, and unlocking climate solutions.

German Healthcare Delegation to Indonesia – Conference

EuroCham attended the German Healthcare Delegation Technical Conference: Healthcare Solutions made in Germany, initiated by The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, supported by the German Health Alliance (GHA) and The German Medical Technology Association (BVMed), and organized by EKONID held earlier today. EuroCham was represented by Wulaning Sunuwati, Deputy Head of the Pharmaceutical & Medical Technology Working Group & Head of Government Affairs and Business Development at Siemens Healthineers.

Focusing on the topic of digital healthcare and medical equipment, the conference was opened by remarks from Jan Roennfeld, Director of the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry & Commerce and EuroCham Board Member, H.E Ina Lepel, Ambassador of Germany to Indonesia, and Roy Himawan, Director of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Resilience of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The discussion invited various speakers and experts from both Indonesian and German associations and German businesses in the healthcare and medical device sector.
