The EuroCham Transportation and Logistics Working Group was invited by the Directorate General of Land Transport of the Ministry of Transportation to a meeting on 15 January 2021. The meeting agenda is to discuss financial concept for an action programme on the intermodal freight transport in Java Island. In this regard, the meeting aims to collect inputs from the logistics players for the planned joint assessments program between the Ministry of Transportation with the GIZ TRANSfer team.

EuroCham was invited by the EU-Asean Business Council (EU-ABC) on 6 January 2021 to a joint meeting with the Director General of Customs and Excise, Heru Pambudi, who in this meeting was also accompanied by the Director of International Customs, Syarif Hidayat, and other senior officials. This meeting aims to discuss various technical issues related to customs procedures, such as the import of consigned goods, FTA procedures, further development of Customs IT system, and IPR Protection during the Import-Export Process. Representing EuroCham in this meeting were the Head and Deputy Head of the Transport and Logistics Working Group, and the Head and Deputy Head of the Import-Export Procedures Working Group.
