The webinar invited Tiger Wang (Scientist L’Oreal) and Dwi Yulianto Laksono (Laboratory Manager Saraswanti Indo Genetech) as speakers, who both shared Dioxane Analytical Method Practice from Industrial Perspective. This webinar also invited speakers from the government, namely Reri Indrianto (Deputy for Supervision of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplement, and Cosmetics, National Agency for Food and Drug Control/BPOM) to deliver the opening remarks, and Tepy Usia, Ph.D Usia (Director of Standardization of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplement, and Cosmetics, BPOM) to provide an update on Developing Standard Method in ASEAN.

The meeting discussed the implementation of BPOM Regulation No. 12 of 2019, relevant to Dioxane pollution, and highlight the challenges businesses faced in ensuring the safety of cosmetic products circulated and used by the public.
