Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) FGD on the Local Content Requirement on Pharmaceutical Sector
On September 9, the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Indonesia invited EuroCham to participate in an active focus group discussion for their ongoing research study at the CSIS office in Gedung Pakarti Centre. EuroCham was represented by Harimurti Listianto, Deputy Head of EuroCham Pharmaceutical & Medical Technology Working Group and Government Affairs Head at PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari.
The discussion was solely focused on the impact of local content requirement policies (TKDN) in the private healthcare sector, delving deeper into the direction and gradual implementation of the policy, and formulating alternatives to ensure investments in the sector. The result of the study will be used to propose policy recommendations to the government, which aims to support industrial development for economic growth.
We would like to thank CSIS for the fruitful discussion and hope to contribute to their studies in an effort to strengthen competitiveness among sectors.
Indonesia Services Dialogue (ISD) & KADIN Webinar on Impact of Personal Data Protection Law to Businesses
EuroCham was invited to a public discussion titled “Industry Readiness in Welcoming the Personal Data Protection Bill” organized by Indonesia Services Dialogue and co-organized by KADIN.
This discussion invited Semuel A. Pangerapan, Director General of Informatics Applications of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Rizki A. R. Natakusumah, Commission I member of the House of Representatives and other relevant stakeholders. Indonesia Services Dialogue, as the organizer, showcased the survey results on the impact of PDP Bill provisions on the digital economy industry. This discussion is closed with a question-and-answer session with participants.
