On 30 January 2020, EuroCham Tobacco Working Group held its first meeting in 2020. The Group looked back on some of its activities in 2019 with highlights of the Group’s meeting with the BPOM and Ministry of Health. It was also discussed in the meeting several regulatory updates that related to the sector, namely relating to the Increase of Tobacco Excise, Excise Tapes for Tobacco Products in 2020, De Minimis Value Reduction for Consigned Goods, and Waste Reduction Road Map by Producers. The Group finally collected inputs for priority topics that need to be addressed in 2020 as well as inclusion of these topics to the Position Paper 2020.

On 30 January 2020, Energy Working Group conducted a kick off meeting with its leaders and members. The meeting talked policy updates on Draft Regulation related to New Tariff for Renewable Energy. This Draft is also align with the current draft of Presidential Regulation on New Renewable Energy that is expected to be published this year.

Working Plan for 2020 was also discussed in this meeting, including topics to be discussed in the next regular monthly meeting, annual Energy Dinner 2020 that will be held on March 2020, and also collect the inputs for Energy Position Paper 2020
