EuroCham Finance, Tax, and Investment Working Group Webinar on The New Era of Transfer Pricing in Indonesia

In response to the issuance of the Minister of Finance Regulation No. 22/2020, which is a new ruling related to procedures for implementing the transfer price agreement (Advance Pricing Agreement / APA), the EuroCham Finance, Tax, and Investment Working Group organized a webinar entitled, “The New Era of Transfer Pricing in Indonesia”. This webinar was chaired and moderated by Omar Abdulkadir (Taxation Services Advisor at PwC Indonesia & EuroCham Head of Finance, Tax, and Investment Working Group). Two speakers were invited by the Group to present, namely Iwan Hoo (the Head of Transfer Pricing at KPMG) and Prawira Atmadja (CFO at BASF, EuroCham Board, and CFO Club Board Member). The webinar was attended by more than 80 participants to mainly serve as a platform to share updates on changes in the regulations and discuss the potential impact for companies who are struggling with the defense of their transfer pricing compliance. EuroCham will monitor these new regulations and continue to provide updates regarding its implementation.

EuroCham-CIPS Webinar: Boosting Indonesia’s Enhancement of Export Performance through Free Trade Policies

EuroCham jointly organized with the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) a webinar on 13 August 2020. The webinar, which focused on the discussion on enhancing Indonesia’s Export Performance through Free Trade Policies, invited Pingkan Audrine Kosijungan (Researcher of CIPS), Rachmat Hidayat (EuroCham Head of Import-Export Procedures Working Group and Government Relations of Danone Indonesia), and Mila Karmila Bishry (Deputy Director of Agrobusiness Products of the Ministry of Trade). The webinar highlighted efforts that can be carried out to boost exports to partner countries, such as to the European Union, by among others continuing the ongoing negotiation of the Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. This webinar also highlighted the importance of the ease of doing business through various simplifications and relaxations, as well as relations between import-export and investments activities for European companies operating in Indonesia. The overall discussion was moderated by Felippa Ann Amanta (Head of Research of CIPS), and was attended by more than 80 participants from various companies.
