On 13 April 2021, EuroCham held the fourth of EuroCham – SSEK Legal Consultants Policy Dialogue Series on Manpower Regulations. The event discussed the topic of Security for Laid-Off Workers and served as the final event of the Policy Dialogue Series on Manpower Regulations, which was a collaboration event between EuroCham and SSEK Legal Consultants. Opened by Paramita Dewi Wijaya (BASF Indonesia) in her capacity as the Head of EuroCham HR Working Group, the event invited Retno Pratiwi (Director of Manpower Social Security - Ministry of Manpower) who shared her views on the topic. The overall discussion was moderated by Stephen Warokka (Partners - SSEK Legal Consultants).

The third Policy Dialogue Series on Manpower Regulation on the New Arrangement in Calculating Wages was held on 6 April 2021. This dialogue shared details on Government Regulation No. 36 of 2021 (GR 36/2021) pertaining to Wages, which repeals Government Regulation No. 78 of 2015. A speaker representing the Ministry of Manpower was specially invited to provide updates on the topic, namely Imelda Savitri, S.E., M.M. (Mid-Level Expert Industrial Relations Mediator/Implementing Coordinator for Wages Development from the Ministry of Manpower). This session provided plenty of opportunities for participating member companies to seek clarifications on the current stipulations from the government representative. The overall discussion was moderated by Stephen Warokka (Partner at SSEK Legal Consultants) that followed opening remarks provided by Paramita Dewi Wijaya (HR Director of BASF) as the Head of Working Group.
