On 24 January 2020, Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology Working Group task force had a meeting to discuss about the upcoming publication of position paper 2020. The meeting decided to highlight about “The Availability and Accessibility of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices for Indonesian Patients”. The paper also will describe the market growth in Indonesia. The paper is expected to be released on April 2020 and currently under drafting process. In addition to the papers, the group also discussed work plan for activities in 2020.

On 22 January 2020, the Automotive Working Group discussed latest regulatory updates and remaining issues faced by members as well future advocacy strategy. EuroCham Head of Automotive Working Group, Mr Daniel Purba of Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia, chaired the meeting and presented latest development on Biofuel, standardization in trade, import recommendation For iron and steel and tires, the new process of registration of type and variety of motor vehicles, technical recommendation for wheel rims, and the revocation of import recommendation from Ministry of Industry.
