On the 24th of August, EuroCham was honored to collaborate with BECIS - Commercial Industrial Solutions in an effort to exchange views regarding the various technologies available to reduce carbon emission in this workshop held at WTC 3 Conference Hall. The event commenced with opening remarks delivered by EuroCham Head of Sustainable Working Group, Karyanto Wibowo (Director of Sustainable Development of Danone).

Followed by an intimate workshop by expertise from BECIS: Ugo Siegfried Bernal (Director of Commercial Solutions), Stefan D. (Director of Technical Solutions Engineering), Binu George (Country Manager and Director of Business Development) and Rizaldi Indra (Senior Business Development Manager). The session provided an in-depth discussion to better understand the challenges of onsite generation and exchange views with industries.

EuroCham was invited to the BAT (British American Tobacco) Indonesia office in Jakarta on August 21, 2023. In this meeting, EuroCham was greeted by BAT team Widyanarti Dian (Head of Regulatory of External Affairs), Eka N. Tangkere (Senior Government Affairs Manager and Deputy Head of the Tobacco Working Group), Rudy Miwallie Amien (Regulatory Affairs Manager), Aan Prastya (Senior Manager Media & External Relations), and Maria Melissa Riyani Putri (Corporate Brand & ESG Executive).

The EuroCham team was taken on a brief office tour, followed by a discussion in exchange for some insights on the recently promulgated Law No. 17 of 2003 on Health and upcoming advocacy activities.
