Prudential Indonesia to Focus on Affordable Insurance Products

The life insurance company, PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) is focusing on providing affordable insurance products amidst the pandemic, which has hit people’s purchasing power, its President Director stated. Given the increasing health concerns during the pandemic, consumers were looking for more affordable traditional health insurance packages that were not linked to investment products, Prudential Indonesia’s President Director, Jens Reisch, said on Tuesday. “In a pandemic situation, now is the time to put forward flexibility, affordability and access,” Reisch said during a livestreamed press conference.

Prudential Indonesia, launched on Tuesday traditional health insurance products, namely PRUSolusi Sehat and PRUSolusi Sehat Syariah, providing health protection with benefits of up to IDR 65 billion (USD 4.5 million) if combined with an additional benefits package.

Allianz Indonesia Distributes Donations to Help Communities Affected by COVID-19

Allianz Indonesia through the Allianz Care Foundation continues to strive to ease the burden on the community by giving donations in the form of food packages and non-medical masks, to the public in a number of cities in Indonesia. Allianz Indonesia's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has a program called Allianz Community for Neighborhood and Society (ACTIONS). ACTIONS is a program that supports employees and marketers spread throughout Indonesia to volunteer, and carry out CSR activities independently in their immediate environment. “This is in line with the value of ‘Care’ that Allianz Indonesia embraces in corporate culture, " said Ni Made Daryanti, the Chairperson of the Allianz Care Foundation.

Marketers and employees have been actively involved in the ACTIONS program since April 2020 as a form of initiative to help others in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Within two months, the ACTIONS program has succeeded in involving 242 volunteers, donating 120 food packages in Depok, West Java, and 7350 non-medical masks in a number of cities in East Java, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Maluku North, and West Papua.
