Along with the increase in the minimum wage, this will also help enhance consumers’ purchasing power. The targeted income and profit from UNVR are expected to increase based on their historical growth within the previous five years, around 3%-6%. The Research & Consulting Manager Infovesta Utama, Nicodimus Kristiantoro, stated that UNVR remains resilient despite the economic uncertainty and recession threat.
PT HM Sampoerna TBK (HMSP) has operated a new innovative factory to meet domestic and export market
PT HM Sampoerna TBK (HMSP) has opened an innovative smoke-free tobacco factory In Karawang, West Java. With a focus on promoting investment and boosting exports of finished goods, the factory manufactures IQOS-HEETS to fulfill the demand for both the domestic and export market in the Asia Pacific Region. The innovative tobacco product factory was opened by HM Sampoerna and the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartanto, with its first export made available in early 2023. The government is optimistic that its investment in the new Sampoerna factory will positively promote innovation and generate economic value across several sectors, including the MSME Sector, collaborations with farmers, and R&D development.
