Unilever Indonesia Solar Panel Inauguration
EuroCham Indonesia was honoured to attend Unilever Indonesia Solar Panel Inauguration on August 9 in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Cikarang.
Unilever Indonesia, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary this December, inaugurated a solar panel installation project on August 9 at its Beauty-Wellbeing and Nutrition plants in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Cikarang. This project stands as an essential component of the Unilever Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP) in Indonesia, with a capacity of 2.5 MWp, thereby establishing itself as one of the largest solar panel installations in Jababeka.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bekasi District Government, Cikarang Listrindo, and PT Jababeka, Tbk, hosted by the leadership team of Unilever Global and Unilever Indonesia.
