Schneider Electric Hands Over Solar Inverter to Sriwijaya University
Schneider Electric, a digital transformation leader in energy management and automation, officially handed over the assistance of the CL36 Solar Inverter with a capacity of 36 kWp to the Department of Electrical Engineering, Sriwijaya University. The handover of the Solar Inverter equipment is part of Schneider Electric's initiative in supporting the development of sustainable energy in Indonesia through the transfer of knowledge and technology for the development of ready-to-work human resources.
This solar inverter assistance from Schneider Electric will be used to develop research and development of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) at Sriwijaya University (Unsri) which will be facilitated by the Electrical Engineering Alumni Association (IATE). The handover ceremony was represented by Surya Fitri, Business Vice President of Power Systems, Schneider Electric Indonesia & Timor Leste, to Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Joni Arliansyah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University, and witnessed by Prof. Ir. Zainuddin Mawawi MM pHD IPU, Vice Chancellor Sriwijaya University, and also Mr. Ir. Bob Saril M. Eng. Sc., IPU, Head of IATE Sriwijaya University.
Surya Fitri, Business Vice President of Power Systems, Schneider Electric Indonesia & Timor Leste said, "Electrification combined with digitization and the use of clean energy from renewable energy sources or known as Electricity 4.0 is the fastest solution in realizing a more sustainable future. To achieve this, of course, an adequate combination of human and technological resources is required.
We are happy to hand over the assistance of the CL36 Solar Inverter equipment with a capacity of 36kWp to the Department of Electrical Engineering Unsri. Research and innovation are very important things and we are happy to be able to support the development of PV mini-grid research for students in universities. We hope that with the help of this tool there will be more research done in the field of renewable energy and generate even more innovations to accelerate sustainable progress in this area."
Nestle & Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Sign MoU on Wonderful Indonesia Co-Branding Umbrella
To introduce PT Nestle Indonesia (Nestle) as a company that invests extensively in Indonesia to support the preservation of local culture, as well as work together to support MSMEs in Indonesia, including in the business and tourism sectors, Nestle has signed a Memorandum of Understanding as one of the partners of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) of the Republic of Indonesia, under the umbrella of co-branding "Wonderful Indonesia".
This Memorandum of Understanding covers several mutually agreed areas of collaboration, such as the implementation of promotional activities and development strategies for tourism marketing and the Indonesian creative economy, involving Nestle brands such as KITKAT and MILO. This Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Nestlé and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. As a realization of this collaboration, Nestle collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in holding a special edition KITKAT packaging design competition entitled KITKAT Breakreasi Design Challenge from 10 March to 3 April 2022. The selected works will be used on the KITKAT packaging for the Indonesian Independence Day special edition, as well as the special edition commemorating World Tourism Day which falls on 27 September.
Regarding the inclusion of Nestle as one of Wonderful Indonesia's co-branding partners, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia (Menparekraf RI) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said, "The role of the private sector is very much needed to continue to support economic and tourism development in Indonesia. I really appreciate all the roles and continuous support from Nestle Indonesia as a company that has been present for 51 years in Indonesia. And I really believe that by joining Nestle as one of the “Wonderful Indonesia” co-branding partners, it will further help promote Proudly Made in Indonesia products, as well as stimulate the economic market in the country.”
